TLBA was retained by the Town of Norfolk and the Norfolk Volunteer Fire Department to conduct a feasibility study for the current and future needs of the Department and recommend improvements to their current facility.  The existing building and site were evaluated and a program for the building, including space for apparatus, emergency operations, storage and maintenance and training facilities was established.

After review and public presentation of several options, the decision was made to retain portions of the existing building, and construct a significant addition to accommodate the department’s equipment, apparatus and personnel.  A community room with a commercial kitchen is also planned as a resource to the community as a whole.
