CRPA Annual Conference Presentation “Construction Process”
In conjunction with Thomas H. Fenton, P.E. of Nathan L. Jacobson & Associates, Inc., Michael Fortuna, AIA presented a program titled “Construction Process: Contractors, Permits and Financial Management” to the CT Recreation and Parks Association at their annual conference at the Mohegan Sun in November of 2012. The seminar was given in two sessions, with session one providing and overview of the design and construction processes. Session two discussed typical on-site construction activities, project management tools and quality control methods. The goal of the presentation was to provide recreation and parks professionals with an understanding of the activities that will lead to a successful project.
