Groton, CT – November 24, 2014 – CURE Innovation Commons announced today the Build Team that will be renovating laboratory, office, and community spaces and making them available to entrepreneurs, start-ups, and growing companies in the life sciences and related fields in Southeastern Connecticut.

The Build Team is comprised of a suite of highly-regarded firms, each a leader in their respective fields, including ASG Consulting Architects, Fortunato Construction Group, Hallam-ICS, and TLB Architecture.

“The collaboration exhibited by our distinguished Build Team has infused The Commons with a high level of energy as we enter into the design and construction phase. I’m pleased to say we are in expert company, fully committed and moving swiftly to deliver The Commons to the bioscience community,” said Susan Froshauer, Ph.D., president and CEO of CURE, the bioscience network of Connecticut.

CURE Innovation Commons will be a new facility for entrepreneurs, scientists, and service providers who want to build their businesses in a vibrant and collaborative community. The Commons will lease fully permitted, independent and shared laboratories and offices. Incubator features include conference rooms, co-working spaces, and meeting and event areas. Resident companies will have access to investors, industry-specific mentors, and experts with on-site office hours as well as back-office support and educational programming.
