CT Agricultural Experiment Station, Anderson-Magnarelli Valley Laboratory Groundbreaking

On March 31st, 2026 we celebrated the official groundbreaking for the expansion of the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station, Anderson-Magnarelli Valley Laboratory, located in Windsor, CT! This exciting project will offer state-of-the-art research space, including laboratories and greenhouses for various research initiatives such as the Agricultural Research Inquiry Laboratory, Soils Laboratory, Plant Pathology, Mycology and more. Notably, it will be carbon-free, meet DAS High Performance Building Standards, and be IgCC compliant. It will feature 24 geothermal wells, rooftop PV, EV charging stations, and energy efficient systems, within a high-performance envelope. Stay tuned for updates on this groundbreaking endeavor!
