Town Center Masterplan

Killingworth, Connecticut

The design for a new town center on 45 acres in central Killingworth achieves a contextual integration of traffic calming measures along Route 81, passive recreational uses, a formal Town Green, Community Center, Amphitheater, Town Hall, and Transfer Station integrated with the existing Library, Fire Station, Ambulance, and Highway Department facilities. New England architecture vernacular forms and indigenous materials will unify the Town Center, and provide historical reference for future generations.
