This restoration project of the historically significant First Church of Christ in downtown Hartford began with a comprehensive condition assessment of accessible exterior envelope components of the building façades, including brick masonry, windows, entry doors, brownstone steps, iron fencing and gates and the church tower and steeple.  In addition to the visual survey, 3D laser scanning was employed to obtain accurate existing conditions information.   The resulting comprehensive assessment report will be used as a basis for phased restoration projects.
