TLB Architecture was commissioned to design and implement a new accessible entrance with gardens, ADA compliant toilet facilities, and a service kitchen for large dinner functions, all integrated into this historic residence, a focal point of the Wesleyan campus. A brownstone site-wall extends from the building’s foundation to define a sitting area, planters and a universally accessible ramp. The circa 1860 President’s House, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is prominently located on the crest of the hill section on central campus.
